Sollux has a split personality, one minute he could be insulting you with all the confidence in the world, and then the next he could be crying his eyes out at your comeback. He is generally very grouchy from constantly being plagued by voices in his head - he is visibly happier when Eridan blinds him with science and the voices leave him.
He's also very witty and always has a quip up his sleeve. He sometimes goes as far as insulting peoples' religions.
